Meet Flea
Every great story has a beginning, and ours starts with a little bit of yarn and a whole lot of heart.
The Legend of Flea Flea isn’t your average fox. He’s a “vintage soul in a knitted body,” discovered tucked away in a dusty cedar chest during one of Hope’s very first picking trips. While most foxes are out chasing rabbits, Flea was born with a nose for hidden treasures and a soft spot for anything that needs a second chance.
What He Does Around Here As the official mascot of our Dundee shop, Flea. has a very busy schedule:
- The Treasure Hunter: He’s got an eye for the “diamonds in the rough,” helping us sniff out the best vintage finds and upcycled gems.
- The Quality Controller: If a chair isn’t cozy enough for a knitted fox to nap on, it’s not ready for your home!
- The Storyteller: He reminds us that every piece of furniture has a history worth saving—just like he was saved from that old chest.
Spot the Fox! Keep an eye out for Flea when you visit. He loves to hide among the mid-century dressers, perch on the farmhouse tables, and occasionally “help” with the social media photos. If you find him, give him a little pat—he’s the quiet force behind all the magic here at The Foxy Flea.
